The learning website, www.guru.lk, has expanded its '100-day self-improvement' program series with the addition of a new module 'Think like your boss' conducted by Managing Director and CEO, Chevron Lubricants, Kishu Gomes.

Targeted at aspiring career-minded professionals who wish to climb the corporate ladder, the program share valuable tips which can be developed within the participants over a 100 days. It is currently available in Sinhala.

The '100 day self-improvement' program of www.guru.lk  delivers measurable results in people with daily practice tips in the form of voice, video and rich animated content from the leading experts in multiple fields.

CEO, Headstart (Pvt) Ltd, Hasitha Dela who owns and manages the website said, "We are pleased to have Kishu Gomes, a charismatic leader of our generation, joining guru.lk. His vision and experience will be invaluable to many career professionals seeking self-development."

Sri Lanka has high literacy rates of 92%, on a par with many developed countries. However, the country is yet to achieve its potential in computer literacy, he said.

Kishu Gomes began his career at the age of 18 in sales. His dedication to work saw him rising rapidly in his career to become the CEO of Chevron Lubricants Lanka at the age of 36. Today, he serves as the CEO and Managing Director of Chevron Lubricants Lanka PLC and Managing Director of Chevron Ceylon Limited, a fully owned Chevron company. He is also a Leadership Team member of the Asia Pacific Lubricants Regional team and a member of the Global Extended Leadership Team. He holds an MBA from the University of Leicester, UK, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.

Gomes said: "I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with the workforce of my own country. I am what I am today due to the hard work and dedication I have put into my career. I firmly believe in learning from everybody, be it a farmer, a trader or a corporate leader."
