Craft-Holic Exhibition and Fair

Craft-Holic Exhibition & Fair, an ideal occasion for craft enthusiasts will be held at the Dutch Burgher Union Hall, Colombo on June 6 from 9.30 am to 7.00 pm. The event will cover crafting areas such as textile craft, paper craft, fashion craft, decorative craft and functional craft.

Malays recognised as distinct community

Sri Lankan Malays will be referred to as a distinct community, different from Muslims who are categorized as Sri Lanka Yonaka, following representations made to President Maithripala Sirisena, by the Sri Lanka Malay Community Development Program, the Presidential Secretariat letter No. E&O/IAU/AO/35 dated April 29, 2015, stated.
