Four hundred and fifty visitors from South India participated in a
conference in Colombo organised by Royal Holidays.
The annual conference of Coromandel International was held at the
Cinnamon Grand. The coordinators were Parry Travels India.
Royal Holidays Sri Lanka was entrusted with the ground handling task.
The group arrived from South India mainly from Hyderabad, Chennai,
Bangalore and Trichy.
The four-day tour consisted of a conference, awards night and a day
excursion to Kandy, visiting the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage en route.
India is a prime inbound tourism destination for Sri Lanka and mostly
consisting of MICE (Meeting, Incentives, Conference, Events), leisure,
Ramayana culture and wildlife tours. Royal Holidays one of the biggest
operators of the Indian in-bound market with more than decade of
experience in the industry, has proved its professionalism again in
handling a mega event of this nature which has given wide publicity to
the Sri Lanka Tourism industry. |
