Union Assurance provides roadside assistance for female
policyholders
Union Assurance General (UAG) will work with Associated Motorways (Pvt)
Ltd (AMW) to provide UAG female policyholders roadside assistance in the
event of a vehicle breakdown or any type of car trouble they may
encounter be it a flat tyre, dead battery or even if you've locked your
keys in your vehicle.
UAG believes this campaign to be a one of a kind initiative that is
in line with its overall ethos of building and delivering transparency,
respectfulness and convenience to all stakeholders. AMW provides this
islandwide service for a fee. However, having arrived at an agreement
with them, UAG will offer this service at no charge to selected
policyholders.
"We want to be at the forefront in bringing about value added
services to customers. Female drivers are likely to be more vulnerable
in unforeseen situations that involve vehicle breakdowns and flat tyres,
therefore, we feel it is perfectly catered to assist them," said
Manager, Marketing, UAG, Rajiv David.
The services offered include a 24-hour service hotline, 365 days of
the year, emergency fuel delivery with the customer only having to pay
the cost of the fuel (either diesel or petrol), unlimited technical
advice hotline and on the spot minor mechanical repairs.
"We do our utmost to ensure the best possible service is offered to
clients and we are excited about joining UAG in this project," said
Deputy General Manager - Group Marketing and Communication, Associated
Motorways, Mrs. Iroshini Munasinghe.
AMW is under the management of Al-Futtaim Engineering, a wholly owned
subsidiary of the Al-Futtaim group in the UAE.
UAG's General Manger - Marketing and Distribution, Nihal Handunge
said, "Union Assurance General is now operating on an entirely new
stratum with Canada based Fairfax Asia Limited." |
