Monkey pranks

Devotees paying homage to the Ashtapala Bodhi tree in the sacred Kataragama area are extremely inconvenienced by the monkey menace.

Monkeys remain perched on the Bodhi tree and at other times, urinate on unsuspecting devotees hijacking the offerings of flowers and food items made by the devotees terrifying regular visitors.These pictures reflect some of the monkey pranks.
