Red Crescent date donation

The 'Red Crescent' society of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) donated 15 metric tons of dates to Sri Lanka to be distributed among the needy during Ramazan. UAE Ambassador in Sri Lanka, Abdul Hamid A.K. Al Mulla handed over the consignment to Minister of Muslim Religious Affairs and Post, M.H. Abdul Haleem, at a ceremony held at the UAE Embassy in Colombo last week.
