Sarachchandra's 'Sinhabahu': In Chilaw and Colombo

Prof. Ediriweera Sarachchandra 'Sinhabahu' will be staged at the Chilaw Sudasuna Theatre 8.15 a.m. and 11.30 a.m. on June 11 (Thursday) and at the New Town Hall, Colombo 07 at 8.15 a.m. and 11.30 a.m. June 18 (Thursday). The staging of the play is being organised by Jude Srimal.

Suhanya's Arangethram

The Bharatha Natya Arangethram of Suhanya Himanshi Kuruneru was held at the Bishop's College Auditorium, Colombo 2 on May 30. She is a student of Guru Priyadarshini Bandara.

Suhanya is the daughter of Dr. Himansu and Chamila Kuruneru of Bambalapitiya and is a grade 8 student of Visakha Vidyalaya. She is also the granddaughter of Veterinary Surgeons Dr. Percy Gunathilake and late Dr. A. Kuruneru.

State Minister for Child Affairs Rosy Senanayake was the Chief Guest at the Arangethram.
