Trinity in resounding win

Trinity College after two straight losses scored a resounding 58 points

( 5 ggoals, 4 tries, 1 penalty ) to 25 ( 2 goals. 1 try, 2 penalties ) win

over Kingswood College in their Schools under 19 tournament match played

at the Triniity College Rugby Stadium at Pallekele yesterday At half time the lions led 19 - 15.

Trinity’s forwards combined well with the backs especially in the second half to pile on the points in this match which is the oldest schools fixture dating back to 1906.

The try scorers for Trinity College were Skipperr and No. 8 Isuru

Rangala (3), centre Ryan Weerakoon (2), flanker A.Edirisinghe (2), centre Saranga Gunatillake (2). Saranga Gunatiilake goalled 5 tries and the penalty was put over by stand off Thisila Perera For the Kingswoodians flanker T.R.Rqaffaideen scored 2 tries and goalled both and also converted 2 penalties. The other try was scored by centre
