Unbeaten Isipathana meet gallant Science

Unbeaten Isipathana College is up against the rejuvenated Science College outfit in their inter schools Singer league under 20 rugby match to be played today( Sunday) at science college grounds Mt.lavinia. Kick off at 4.30pm.

Isipathana College unbeaten so far beat C.W.W.Kannangara 71-05, Wesley college 34 nil, ST.Joseph College 23-17 and a hard fought 20-18 victory over ST. Peters C ollege , Kingswood 32-22 and 62-15 run away victory last week against S.Thomas College Mt.Lavinia.

Isipathana players to watch are Captain and number eight Omalka Gunarathna, Hooker Nisal Desaka, Winger Dillan Gallage , fly half Isuru Kongahawatte and full back Rehan De

Silva. They are coached by Kingswood old boy Nilfer Ibrahim .

Science college after a fairly a mixed season lost to unbeaten Royal 37-22 and Trinity 22-17 , and won against S.Thomas Mt.lavinia 26-17, St.Anthony's Kandy 36-27,

Dharmaraja College Kandy by 50-32 and late in the season created an eye opener when they beat the high riding Josephians by 29 points to 26 last week.

Players to watch in the Science outfit are play maker & fly half Nishad Niranjan, Captain Lasindu Ishan two brothers .Maduranga Kandamby , A.T.Maduranga Kandamby also flanker U.Madusanka. Science College is coached by former Peterite old boy Colin Peter Denish.
