Dialog wins Glitz Biz Quiz 2015

Dialog Axiata was crowned Mercantile Quiz Champions recently, when
they won the Glitz Biz Quiz 2015, Sri Lanka's premier corporate quiz
competition.
They were closely followed by the teams of the People's Bank and 99X
Technology who were placed second and third.
It was held for the third consecutive year. In Biz Quiz 2015, 200 of
Sri Lanka's top masterminds representing 40 corporate teams battled for
supremacy over five rounds of general knowledge questions covering areas
such as geography, current affairs, world politics, history, science,
technology, sports and entertainment.
There were 10 category awards and the winners were: Telecom/BPO -
Dialog Axiata, Banking and Finance - People's Bank PLC, IT and Software
- 99X Technology Ltd, Groups of Companies - Aitken Spence PLC, Media and
Advertising - Triad Advertising, Travel and Hospitality - SriLankan
Airlines, Apparel - Bodyline, Logistics and Freight - Aitken Spence
Cargo, Pharmaceuticals - Astron, Open Category - Stax Inc.
Biz Quiz 2015 was organised by Dashing Events with the European
Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka. The Quiz Master was Shehan Kumar. |
