Enliven on Thursday

The Interact Club of the British School of Colombo will present its fourth annual evening of entertainment at the school auditorium from 7.00 p.m. onwards on Thursday, July 9.

Entitled 'Enliven', the show, which sees the Club teaming up with various organizations to enrich the lives of special-needs children through song, dance and drama, will this year see a collaboration with the Navodhya Special Children's Foundation, located in Mount Lavina.

The Foundation is run by Ms. Lakshmi Karunajeeva and a dedicated team of teachers who strive to create a comfortable environment for the 34 children requiring special care. The Foundation is run with the donations of generous individuals.The Interact Club of The British School in Colombo has been working closely with the students for some time, connecting with the children through art, song and dance, will be sharing the stage with them celebrating the internationally spoken language of the arts.

The show is sponsored by Continental Insurance and tickets are priced at Rs750. All ticket sales from the evening will go towards the care and education of the children of the Navodhya Special Children's Foundation.
