Ceyoka signs distributor agreement with Eurofarma

Ceyoka (Pvt) Ltd, a diversified company, recently signed a distributor agreement with Eurofarma, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in Brazil.

Ceyoka has received the legal rights from Eurofarma to import, stock, promote, market and distribute its range of pharmaceuticals in Sri Lanka under the terms of the agreement (oncological products).

Ceyoka's Pharmaceutical Division imports basic to high-end pharmaceuticals from USA, Switzerland, China, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Korea.

"We are pleased that Eurofarma Brazil has chosen Ceyoka to bring the product portfolio to the Sri Lankan market," said General Manager and Head of Pharmaceuticals, Ceyoka Health, Dr. Syed Qamar Ali. "Our scale of operation, experience and industry know-how provide exceptional distribution opportunities for Eurofarma.

The agreement is consistent with our strategy of evolving and expanding. We are confident that with Eurofama and Ceyoka business partnership, both will grow from strength to strength in a sustainable manner."

With a broadly defined scope that includes hospital therapeutics, Eurofarma operates virtually in all pharmaceutical segments through its business units such as prescription drugs, generics, hospital procurement and oncology.

Executive Director, Export Department and International Area, Eurofarma Brazil, Wesley Marucci Pontes said, "This is an important step forward in our strategy to grow our business in key markets and improve global access to our medicines. Creating a strategic partnership with Ceyoka will be a key factor to offer doctors and patients with quality new treatment opportunities in the Sri Lankan healthcare sector."

The agreement contributes towards Ceyoka's commitment to provide customers with quality generic pharmaceutical products and services. The agreement also represents an excellent opportunity for reinforcing Ceyoka's dedication to consistency and excellence.
