Hospitalisation cover for Ceylinco VIP policy holders

Ceylinco General Insurance will offer emergency hospitalisation cover up to Rs 4 million for Ceylinco VIP On The Spot policy holders at no additional cost.

This offer includes a cover of Rs. 1.3 million for hospitalisation expenses in the event of a road accident within Sri Lanka and follow-up treatment overseas.

In the event of the policy holder travelling overseas, he or she will be entitled to a hospitalisation cover, for any medical emergency up to Rs. 1.3 million and Rs. 2.6 million for hospitalisation expenses due to an accident up to 15 days per trip.

The cover will be valid for new policies, while existing policy holders will be entitled to this new benefit from the date of their next renewal. In the case of individual customers, the insured will be entitled to this benefit, while corporate customers or fleet owners must name a person as beneficiary,
