'Impact of election promises' on Sirasa

The first of a special series titled Prathipaththi - an in depth review of economic policies and approaches of political parties announced through their manifestos will be telecast today, August 2 at 10.30pm on Sirasa TV.

Prof. Sirimal Abeyratne, Professor of Economics, University of Colombo and Senior Fellow of the Pathfinder Foundation, Dr. Ariyaratne Herath, Senior Lecturer of Economics, University of Peradeniya and Research Associate at Pathfinder Foundation and Luxman Siriwardena, MA (Vanderbilt University) and Executive Director, Pathfinder Foundation will lead the technical aspects of the discussion while Deputy Minister of Policy Planning and Economic Development, Dr. Harsha de Silva, parliamentarians Ranjith Siyambalpitiya and Sunil Handunnetti will represent their respective political parties.
