Trinity honour sportsmen

Trinity College principal Colin Ratnayake bestowed three Lion awards on Arjuna Jayasinghe (cricket), Charmouth Dissanayake (boxing) and S.N.Abeyawardena (weightlifting).

Colours were also awarded to D.R.B.Ranasinghe, V.V. Mahadullewa and Saranga Gunatilleke (boxing).

Gunatilleke previously received Colours for athletics and rugby.

Other Colours winners were Mohamed Naveed, Dilan Jayalath, Dumindu Tillekaratne and S Shanuge the cricketer who scored 270 runs in an under 17 game, H. Boyagoda and Lahiru Kumara.

Colours also went out to Nushan Weerasinghe, Kavin Hinduma,(basketball), Lalith Hinagama, (weightlifting) and P. S.T.B. Jayasundera.(HM)
