DIMO hosts Mercedes-Benz customers

Diesel and Motor Engineering PLC (DIMO) recently hosted Mercedes-Benz customers to appreciate their valued patronage and loyalty towards the three-pointed star. The event was held at DIMO 800 - the new Mercedes-Benz centre, and the invitees included those who had purchased Mercedes-Benz, Jeep and Chrysler vehicles from DIMO from 2014.

Over 350 customers and their spouses were entertained to an evening of classical compositions, which included melodies of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, recreated in a contemporary style by composer and pianist Harsha Makalanda. Mozart's melodies laid the setting for the evening in the presence of another German masterpiece, the Mercedes-Benz.

Daimler AG representative Kenny Ng outlined the relationship between Daimler and DIMO and the importance of the event.

Chairman and Managing Director, DIMO, Ranjith Pandithage said that purchasing a Mercedes-Benz is a symbol of standing - a sign of accomplishment and a sign that you've reached the top. He said that buying a Mercedes-Benz from DIMO is a lifestyle investment.

This is our humble way of recognizing the trust that consumers have placed in the Mercedes-Benz and DIMO, he said.

DIMO also unveiled the new Mercedes-Benz S-Coupe and the AMG GTS. For over half-a-century, the flagship Mercedes-Benz coupe has advanced with industry-changing breakthroughs and uncompromising style, a company spokesman said.
