Lanka-Singapore to promote business ties

Stax Inc., a strategy consulting firm, presented the Sri Lankan advantage at a program titled 'Investment Opportunities in resurgent Sri Lanka' in collaboration with the Singapore-Sri Lanka Business Council (SLBA), the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce (SICC) and the International Enterprise (IE) in Singapore recently.

The program was led by Founder and CEO of Stax, Rafi Musher and Director, Stax, Dr. Kumudu Gunasekera to apprise Singaporean business leaders, including Corporates, SMEs and Private Equity Firms on the investment opportunities available in Sri Lanka, and emphasize how Stax as a leading strategy consulting partner could leverage potential investment opportunities based on extensive research and analysis.

Managing Director, Stax, Ruwindhu Peiris said, "The key to our success over the two decades of our existence is because we provide corporations and private equity firms with clear, actionable, fact-based strategic advice on growth and profit. Our deep market knowledge across a myriad of industry verticals and an array of abilities enables us to deliver the best outcomes".

"Sri Lanka is transforming itself into an attractive investment area. We are working with a number of international firms, serving them from the initial stages to finalizing investments. The platform to network with the business community in Singapore was an opportunity for us to promote the Sri Lankan business environment, country advantage and to help bridge the expectation of a prospective investor through rigid and practical consulting services," he added.

Stax, serves large corporations and private equity firms across multiple sectors and regions, advising on changes in market needs, growth, profit improvement and major investments.

The company has operated in Sri Lanka since 2005 and has helped a number of international firms enter the local market.
