IPM conducts Certified HR Auditor program
The Institute of Personnel Management (IPM) with TV Rao Learning
System of India conducted the Certified HR Auditor course in Colombo
recently. About 28 people representing mostly bluechip local and
multinational companies followed the course.
The program was conducted by Prof. T. V. Rao of TV Rao Learning
Systems, India with experienced HR Consultant and Past President of IPM,
Jayantha Jayaratna who 'localized' the study material to suit the Sri
Lankan context.
"We are pleased that the first Certified HR Auditor program conducted
in Sri Lanka attracted high profile senior HR practitioners. Going by
the feedback that we received from participants the program was an
absolute success," said President IPM Sri Lanka, Rohitha Amarapala.
John Filler of the Ceylon Electricity Board said that it was the best
program organized so far regarding HR audit.
"This provides knowledge to develop an audit with relevant
methodologies to audit our firms and against other firms. I am lucky to
be part of the first batch and this will indeed set an example for
future HR auditors," he added.
IPM Sri Lanka keeps pace with the new trends and concepts in HR by
engaging continuously with the business community to share experiences,
thoughts and insights to enrich and enhance the HR profession. |
