Hemas Travels and Diethelm Sri Lanka launch 'Escapades'

Outbound travel and tour operator, Hemas Travels, Destination Management Company, Diethelm Travel Sri Lanka and STA Travels launched 'Escapades' recently.

'Escapades' will bring in a new dimension to outbound travel and is primarily aimed at assisting young travellers with all their travel needs from affordable air tickets to accommodation and visa procedure.

Managing Director, Diethelm Travel Sri Lanka, Harith Perera said, "There's a new emerging demography in Sri Lanka keen to explore the world on their own terms and appease their wanderlust in an exciting but affordable method. 'Escapades' was launched to cater to this niche clientele by making international travel affordable without compromising on their travel experience be it for education or leisure."

"From short hauls to lengthy journeys, our products cover the world from many different angles. We at 'Escapades', understand that youth travel is all about creating memories and most importantly an identity that lasts a life-time while building new relationships," he said.

Director, Hemas Travels, Riza Ahamat said, "Escapades caters to varying segments of youth travellers. Regardless of whether they are in school, at university or a young professional, 'Escapades' offers something for every type of young traveller. Our dedicated Customer Service agents will assist them with affordable rates and travel expertise. These special products, benefits and services are offered for travellers between 15-30 years and can be availed of after obtaining a ISIC (International Student Identity Card) or an IYTC (International Youth Travel Card) membership card.

These lifestyle membership cards will also entitle cardholders to discounts and offers from a host of merchants within Sri Lanka and around the world, amplifying their travel and leisure experience. ISIC is a NPO with a Trust Office in the Netherlands and is the only student and youth membership body endorsed by UNESCO and UNWTO.
