Virtusa recently held its 11th annual Silver Pixels Global

Technology Centre (SLATC) at Orion City transformed into an art gallery
for a day.

The theme for this year's event was 'Expressions' and Virtusans were
asked to showcase their creative talents by working within these
boundaries and submitting images under the categories of People, Places,
Nature and Abstract.
This resulted in some of the most awe inspiring
images the Silver Pixels exhibition has seen in years, making the
judges' decision that much tougher.
Judging the print competition were some of Sri Lanka's most renowned
professionals in the field of photography, Prasad Hapuarachchi,
AjanthaWattalagedera and Kesara Ratnavibushana. The mobile category was
judged by Priyantha Bandara.
After much deliberation they declared Sukitha Samarakkody (People),
BuddhikaWaleboda (Places), Prasan Karunarathna (Nature and Abstract),
and Ashan Weliwita (Mobile) winners of their respective categories,
while Sukitha Samarakkody was adjudged the overall winner for the
evening.
Silver Pixels is Virtusa's annual photography exhibition, initiated
in 2005 by a few photography enthusiasts. Today, it has grown into a
company-wide global event. Photographs from the exhibition are used in
company material such as the corporate calendar as well the Virtusa
coffee table book.
