Havies meet Army as Navy host Police

Unbeaten Havelocks will aim to celebrate Christmas with a clean sheet as they take on Army in a first round inter club Dialog League rugby match at the Race Course ground in Colombo today.

Havelocks are undoubtedly the favourites to win and given the manner in which they have taken and approached their opponents at each game Army will have to throw in everything if they are to keep the rampaging Park Club players in check.

Havelocks together with Kandy are the only two unbeaten teams in the fray and will scrum down in the new year on January 2 at Havelock Park. In another match scheduled for kick-off today, Navy can expect a hard time from Police who are yet to play to their potential despite having one of the strongest packs.

Navy on their other hand are not a team that will go down to any team without a fight.
