Marco Pierre to conduct ultimate Master Class

Celebrity three Michelin star chef and Judge of Master Chef Australia, Marco Pierre White, scheduled to begin a 12-day tour of Sri Lanka from tomorrow (18) will conclude his visit with the ultimate Master Class for executive chefs and culinary professionals of Sri Lanka on January 30.

The four- hour Master Class from 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. will see Marco providing a 'hands-on' learning experience to the industry covering a series of themes relevant to the chefs and culinary industry professionals. All participating chefs will also have an opportunity to sit down for lunch with the celebrity chef.

During the Master Class, Marco will discuss new trends in cookery, the use of new ingredients and the best methods to use them, new techniques in cookery; how to work with limited ingredients in the kitchen, how to operate a low cost yet high quality kitchen and how to cook for diverse palates in one restaurant. He will also share his experience on how to synchronise and pair unusual ingredients, to put together a magical dish.

Marco Pierre's tour of Sri Lanka is sponsored by Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts in collaboration with the British High Commission, the national carrier SriLankan Airlines, HSBC, Knorr Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka Tourism, Land Rover, Quintessentially Lifestyle, Trekurious and Cinnamon Air. The Master Class will be held at Cinnamon Grand Colombo for an audience of 30.
