The annual awards ceremony of Muslim Ladies College (MLC)
Bambalapitiya was held at the College Hall recently under the patronage
of Principal Dr. Hajarjahan Mansoor. The Chief Guest Minister of Foreign
Employment, Promotion and Welfare Thalatha Athukorala, distributed the
awards to the students.
Best All Rounder, Junior Section Fathima Amara and Senior Section
Fathima Shifnah received their awards from the Chief Guest. The
Principal draped the golden shawl and presented a memento to the Chief
Guest. Divisional Director of Education Colombo South Ms. Illangathilake,
Director of Education Zonal Office Colombo Ms. R.H.S.N. Ranasinghe and
PPA Vice President Ms. Feroza Muzzamil also distributed prizes.
Members of the academic staff, students, members of the School
Development Society and parents were present. |
