Dwellings Group launches apartment project in Melbourne
The Dwellings Group launched Ilixir, an apartment project in
Melbourne, recently. This will give an opportunity to Sri Lankans living
in Australia to acquire property for investment.

The Dwellings Group continues to assist Sri Lankans to diversify
their investments in Australia in partnership with Oliver Hume Property
Funds in Australia.
The apartments start from Rs. 16 million and investors have the
advantage of obtaining 65% financing from Australian banks. The company
takes care of the legal aspects by appointing a dedicated lawyer from
Australia with regard to construction management, renting out of the
properties, management and re-sale.
Director, Dwellings Group, Theekshana Somaratna said, "We continue to
develop operations in Sri Lanka, where the market is functioning well
and we believe we can bring value to clients by investing overseas and
bringing back the returns to Sri Lanka."
The company is also engaged in two apartment projects in Sri Lanka,
at Koswatte and Ethul Kotte with an investment of Rs. 500 million
through My Property Investment, an affiliated company of the Dwellings
Group. The company hopes to invest Rs 350 million in the Koswatte
project which will have 88 units while the Ethul Kotte project will have
30 apartments, he said.
The Group is a fully integrated real estate investment organisation
that focuses primarily on developing, marketing and maximixing the value
