The Easter Bunny

I met a little rabbit once,
Hopping on his way,
I said, "Where are you going
On such a lovely day?"
He said, with just the slightest frown,
"Don't hinder me, I pray!
I'm taking round the Easter Eggs,
Because it's Easter Day."

Easter Bunny

Easter bunny soft and white,
Hopping quickly out of sight.
Thank you for the eggs you bring,
At Easter time to welcome spring.

Yellow eggs and blue and red,
In the grass and flower bed,
We will hunt them everywhere,
Is it really you who put them there?

Umbrellas

Umbrellas bloom,
Along our street,
Like flowers on a stem,
And almost everyone I meet,
Is holding one of them.

Under my umbrella-top,
Splashing through the town,
I wonder why the tulips,
Hold umbrellas,
Upside-down!

Toy trucks

Little boys with their toy trucks,
Roaring down the street,
Little boys that laugh with you,
They're in the drivers seat.

They push the cars and trucks along,
And crash a time or two,
And soon the little toy trucks,
Don't look shiny and new.

Solar system in motion

The Earth turns around,
The Earth turns around,
Once a day, every day,
The Earth turns around.

The moon goes round the Earth,
The moon goes round the Earth,
Once a month, every month,
The moon goes round the Earth.

The Earth goes round the sun,
The Earth goes round the sun,
Once a year, every year,
The Earth goes round the sun.
