Rotherham Circuit Meet today

Sri Lanka Air Force will conduct the Rotherham Circuit Meet for the 10th consecutive year in association with Sri Lanka Auto Sports Drivers Association (SLADA).

It will be flagged off at 0830 hrs today, March 20 at the Sri Lanka Air Force Base, Katukurunda.

Twenty two racing events including 12 car events and 10 bike events will take place. Entrance is free.

The meet will be telecast live on Rupavahini.Telcey Services Pvt Ltd and the Bank of Ceylon has come forward as the main sponsors and CEAT as the principle sponsor of the meet. Raja Jewellers, Stafford Motors, People's Bank and Brantel Lanka Pvt Ltd are the co-sponsors.

The electronic media sponsor (Radio) is ABC Network and the print media sponsor is ANCL.

The sponsorship money and all other income of the event will be channeled to the Seva Vanitha Unit of the SLAF to upgrade the welfare facilities of SLAF personnel and their families.
