Jeyaraj Fernandopulle's death anniversary

The 8th death anniversary of former Minister Jeyaraj Fernandopulle will be commemorated on April 6 at 8.00 a.m. at the Jeyaraj Fernandopulle monument near Kanthi Sports grounds, Weliweriya.

Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Minister Mahinda Amaraweera will deliver the commemorative address.

Ven. Polpitimukalane Pannasiri Thera will deliver a sermon on April 2, at 7.00 p.m. at the Andiambalama Sri Veluwanaramaya followed by an alms-giving the following day.

A Requiem Mass will be held on April 5 at 4.30 p.m. at St. Cajetan's Church, Welihena. On April 6, a midday meal will be provided to inmates at Fatima, St. Mary & Louvia Perochi Childrens' Homes at Welihena.

A Requiem Mass followed by an alms-giving will also be held on April 8 at 11.00 a.m. at St. Agnes' Monastery, Bolawalana.
