Two Sri Lankans as match officials for World T20 final

Former Sri Lanka captain Ranjan Madugalle and member of the 1996 World Cup winning side Kumar Dharmasena will officiate as officials of the ICC World T20 final between England and West Indies to be played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata on Sunday.

Madugalle will be the match referee for the final while Dharmasena will be one of the onfield umpires with Australian Rod Tucker. Marais Erasmus of South Africa will be the third umpire. The Women’s T20 final which precedes the men’s match will be officiated by Aleem Dar of Pakistan and Richard Illingworth of England with Nigel Llong of England as third umpire. Former Zimbabwe cricketer Andy Pycroft will be the match referee.
