Black armbands for World T20 finals

KOLKATA: All four teams in the World T20 finals on Sunday at Eden Gardens are expected to wear black armbands as a mark of respect to the families of victims of the horrifying flyover collapse. "We will request the teams to wear black armbands," Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) president and former India captain Sourav Ganguly said. A minute's silence will also be observed before the start of both the finals.

With the final awarded to Eden Gardens during Jagmohan Dalmiya's tenure as BCCI president, a short documentary on the administrator who passed away last year is set to be shown on the day of the final.
