R4TLI from June 3-4

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Sri Lanka and the newly formed Sri Lanka Society for Transport and Logistics (SLSTL) will launch R4TLI – Research for Transport and Logistics Industry on June 3 and 4. It is sponsored by Walkers CML.

The President of the Eastern Asian Society for Transport and Logistics (EASTS) Prof. Tetuso Yai. Prof. Yai of the Tokyo Institute of Technology will speak on the experience of EASTS as a research vehicle for the industry in many ASEAN countries on June 3 at the Kingsbury Hotel. Dr. Tilak Siyambalapitiya will explain incentives and initiatives taken in recent times to develop linkages between industry and academic in Sri Lanka followed by a presentation by Gayan Fernando on an imitative taken by Lafarge Holcim Sri Lanka on their Journey to Zero Fatalities in Road Safety.
