The world, I see

A smoky blind, ahead of me,
Covers it all, doesn't show it to me,
I can never tell what's behind this screen,
Nor does it want to tell me.

I look at the past and make my present,
I look at the present and predict the future,
But, my guesses are always wrong,
The future plans it, the way I don't want.

The future holds many mysteries to solve,
Which are usually full of sadness and worry,
An irregular path formed ahead of me,
For one little mistake, I thought.

Rain

In the sky,
Blue clouds are going away
and dark clouds are forming.
Suddenly I'm passing a light
with a dangerous sound.
It's lightning and thunder
After that I'm falling on the ground.
People who are outside
get wet when I come over them.
And they often scold me
when I feel I should give them
a punishment.
I'm not going to the ground.
Even then they are scolding me,
Oh, poor me,
I don't know what to do.

Mother's Day

Mother, you are a special mum
Whom I have got.
You were the first teacher
who trained me how to talk and walk.
You are the person,
who gave me the first taste of food
which meant milk.
You taught me the skills
of interacting with others.
Mother, you made my future,
Bright, away from darkness.
You guide me on the straight path
with your love and care.
You are just like my shadow,
teaching me what is right and wrong.
When you are with me,
I never feel solitude.
Mother, you are the one
who brought me Jocund.
You softened my heart
with your love.
And you will be my last spoken word
that is mother.
