The Group has planned to donate to the President’s Fund and a majority of its employees and the SLT Mobitel staff decided to donate one day’s salary for the cause.

The Minister and Deputy Minister of Telecommunication and Digital Infrastructure have decided to donate their one month’s salary to this fund. Accordingly, the entire group will donate Rs. 10 million for the purpose.

SLT has decided to provide 24 hours free information services on disastrous situations and relief providing initiatives through the Government Information Centre.

All SLT offices throughout the country will remain opened for relief providing purposes and collecting goods to be distributed among the victims.
