Pakistan awards Jinnah Scholarships 2016
The High Commission of Pakistan invites applications to award Jinnah
Scholarships for deserving Sri Lankan students pursuing their studies at O/L and
A/L, a media release said.
The Pakistani Government has awarded Jinnah Scholarships to Sri Lankan students
for the past 11 years.
The scholarships are named after Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, the founder
of Pakistan.
Under this program, each successful student receives a stipend of Rs. 24,000 as
assistance for one year to pursue studies. Over 1500 students in Sri Lanka have
benefited so far.
Application forms can be collected from the High Commission at 42 and 44,
Bullers Lane, Colombo 7. The forms can also be downloaded from the official
website of the Pakistan High Commission at www.pakistanhc.lk.
The final date for receipt of applications is May 31,2016 , the release said. |
