Cellcity unveils Meizu smartphones

Cellcity Lanka (Pvt) Ltd recently launched Meizu smartphones to cater the mid-to-high range smartphone market in Sri Lanka.

"With 17 regional service centers island-wide, along with a dedicated after sales service team, Cellcity Lanka is committed to get the latest technology closer to Sri Lankans with the latest Meizu Android series that come with a 2-year warranty," Director of Cellcity Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., Keshan Fernando said.

Set up in 2003, Meizu Technologies produces smartphones created to provide a simple, intuitive mobile experience. With over 2,500 retail stores and over 500,000 vendors, the company has built a global presence.

Meizu smartphones are known for design quality, with aircraft grade alloy mold and promise top of the line smartphone features such as the mTouch technology that enables fingerprint recognition, a company media release said.

The devices come with Android based exclusive Flyme OS, which provides excellent user-interface, performance tweaks, battery optimizations, as well as other features to improve the user-experience while multi-tasking.

The MX5 device comes with 3GB RAM and 16/32/64GB internal memory options, and packs in a 3150 mAh battery which will account for about two days on moderate usage and also has the additional advantage of mCharge quick charging technology.
