Water cut on June 21

There will be an interruption of water supplies to the following areas for 12 hours from noon to midnight on June 21 to facilitate a modernisation programme at the Kalatuwawa filtration plant, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board announced yesterday.

The areas affected are Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa, Kottawa, Pannipitiya, Homagama, Rukmalgama, Pelenwatta, Mattegoda, Godagama, Meepe, Hanwella, Kaluaggala and Padukka.

There will be a low pressure in water supplies to Kaduwela during the period.
