The National Anti-Cancer Centre, Narahenpita held a ‘Early Cancer Detection Program’ at Lake House, sponsored by the Dinamina-Arogya newspaper recently. Tests to identify cervical cancer, breast cancer and oral cancer were also conducted. Community Dental Specialist Dr. Prasanna Jayasekera, Dental Surgeons, Dr. Ranjith Gunasena, Dr. Shrinee Alahapperuma, Dr. Asanga Hemaratne and Public Health Nursing Sisters, Malinee Basnayake and Lakshmi Hettiarachchi and other members of the staff were in attendance.
