Thirteen talented artists with varied styles and different themes will showcase their latest creations as '13 Strokes' as the art exhibition unfolds to delight art lovers at the Lionel Wendt Art Gallery from June 24 to 26. Gamini Abeykoon, Basil Cooray, Gunasiri Kolombage, Sugath Abeysekara, Anura Srinath, Sanjeewa Senevirathna, Anton B. Perera, Kanivumathiy, Hemantha Warakapitiya, Anupa Indika, Susil Jayashantha, Tiddy Abeysuriya, and Rohan Dassanaieke will present a diversity of expressions that will surely relate to the aesthetic pulse of art lovers with themes that range from line drawn portraits to realistic paintings depicting scenes of olden Sinhala grandeur of times past, to abstract expressions, to captivating scenery and more.

What meets the eye as 'brushed to life' by the hands of these talented artists will kindle a myriad of emotions. The joys of quietude, the passions of epic battles, the evocativeness of intriguing shapes, and the charms of folk life will speak out to art lovers through colours, lines, and form. 13 Strokes will surely prove a bountiful feast to those who take pleasure in appreciating art as expressions of the heart that seek to bond with the world at large.
