Int'l symposium on traditional medicine

Ayurveda Expo 2016 - International Indigenous Healthcare Exhibition, organized by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka with the Ministry of Health and Indigenous Medicine and other government institutions, will be held from July 8 to 10 at the BMICH. This is the sixth occasion that the National Chamber will conduct this exhibition.

A medical symposium will be held parallel to the exhibition with a series of sessions on topics related to ayurveda and traditional medicine and professionals, academics and researchers will present papers on the subject. The symposium will be held on July 9 and 10 from 8.30 a.m to 5.30 p.m in Committee Room A, BMICH, Colombo. Internationally renowned experts, professionals, academics and scientists from Sri Lanka, India and Japan will share their knowledge and experiences with Sri Lankan indigenous healthcare practitioners.

This is a valuable opportunity for Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and traditional medical practitioners and students, the organizers said..
