First Aid training for trishaw drivers

The Ministry of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine, the Police and the Red Cross will launch a campaign to educate three -wheeler drivers islandwide on safety driving and First Aid methods in view of the increasing trend of road accidents.

Initially 20 three wheeler drivers from each MOH area will be given training and the organisers hope to realise the targets before the end of this year. The inaugural meeting will be held on June 30 at the BMICH under the patronage of Minister of Health Services Rajitha Senaratne.
