Gifts for Ceylinco Life's Pranama Weerayo

Ceylinco Life's Pranama Weerayo program will present every pre-registered student who passes the Year 5 scholarship examination with a personalised certificate as a form of recognition of his or her potential, a company official said.

"The Year 5 scholarship examination is the first competitive national examination that a student faces in Sri Lanka, and we believe that recognising the value of passing it with an attractive certificate that proclaims the student a hero, could motivate recipients to continue to strive for academic excellence," Ceylinco Life's Director/Deputy CEO Thushara Ranasinghe said.

To receive a 'Pranama Weerayo' certificate and to be eligible to win cash prizes, parents of students sitting the examination need to register by visiting a branch of Ceylinco Life.

Parents have till end October to complete their registrations. Ceylinco Life will, thereafter, work with the Examinations Department to verify the results before producing the certificates and selecting the winners of the cash prizes.

The company said the Pranama Weerayo program will also present an attractive gift to every student who passes the examination.
