Abans launches LG chillers and latest VRF technology

The Central Air Conditioning Department of Abans PLC launched the latest LG Chillers and LG VRF Technologies in an impressive ceremony, along with a technical session and cocktail reception, held at the Grand Ballroom of Galadari Hotel in Colombo on Thursday 7thJuly 2016.

The Chief Guests at the event were His Excellency Chang Won Sam Ambassador of the Republic of Korea and Mrs. Kang Hyung - Eun. Top management personalities from LG Electronics also graced this occasion. Mr. Youn Chul Park - Managing Director of LG Electronics Singapore lead the high powered delegation from LG Electronics. Mrs. Aban Pestonjee - Chairperson of Abans Group and Mr. Tito Pestonjee - Managing Director of Abans PLC together with senior management personnel of Abans were also present.

After Mr. Tito Pestonjee delivered his welcome address, Mr. Virender Singh Rana - Senior Project Manager of LG Electronics Singapore formally launched LG's new VRF Air Conditioning system - LG Multi V IV "Ocean Black Fin" which is specially tailored to work in corrosive environments such as salty air and areas with heavy air pollution.

Ms. Sandy Lim - Business Development & Innovation Manager of LG Electronics Singapore launched the "LG Multi V Washable Water IV" which is ideally suited for buildings in coastal areas.

Mr. Vishavjeet Sodhi - Senior Manager, B2B Sales Engineering team of LG Electronics, Korea made a presentation on LG DX AHU with VRF air conditioners - a cost effective solution for banquet & reception halls, auditoriums and large public spaces. The LG DX AHU with VRF air conditioners are available in both water cooled and air cooled systems for your venue needs.

In his speech, Chang Won Sam Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, praised LG's positioning in Sri Lanka with Abans, a market leader in electronics and home appliances and appreciated Abans' business position. He said he was pleased with the continued developments between LG and Abans, and the growth towards success by two brands in collaboration over decades.
