Ex-ANCL staffer passed away

Mahinda Silva, formerly of the Internal Audit Dept. of the Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd.(Lake House) and beloved husband of Sandhya de Soyza of the General Administration Department and formerly of the Silumina Advertising Department of Lake House, expired on Friday. 17/5, Second Lane, Maithri Mawatha, Waragoda, Kelaniya.

Visakha Esala Sil on July 19

The Esala Sil program organised by the Visakha Vidyalaya Old Girls' Association will be held on Tuesday July 19 from 6 am to 6 pm at the school 'Bo Maluwa'.

The program includes dhamma deshana, dhamma discussions, a meditation session and Bodhi pooja.
