New book on biodiversity

The young writer Praneeth Dhanushka presented his new book to the Minister Mahinda Amaraweera at the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources recently. Titled ‘Origin of Life in Ocean and Expansion’ in Sinhala, the book descriptively presents how life has been originated in ocean and its evolutionary pathway through the time. As a scientific creation it contains valuable and important information which are very beneficial for advanced science students. The book covers an essential part of the local advanced level’s biodiversity lesson.

The book possesses nearly 190 pages including very attractive and clear colour photographs. It has been published by ‘Iresma International Publishers’ in Maharagama. The creative cover designing of ‘Kalawa Design’ gives an impressive and attractive look to the book.
