The 2016 Korean Cultural Festival

The 2016 Korean Cultural Festival, an open forum for Korean culture and sports will be held at the Musaeus College Auditorium on July 23. The event is organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, under the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Korea in partnership with the Ministry of Sports of Sri Lanka and Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation (SLRC). Talented Sri Lankan vocalists and dancers have been invited to show their K-pop spirit on stage. The winning teams will get the opportunity to go to Korea for the final round and compete internationally in September 2016, following a screening process by the Korean counterparts. They will also meet and share the stage with K-pop stars. Meanwhile, a martial performance by Taekwondo demonstration teams will take place at the Festival.
