Police 150th anniversary special on SLRC

Rupavahini will telecast a special live program today (28) from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on its ‘Irida Ayubowan’ segment on the 150th anniversary of Sri Lanka Police which falls on September 3. The program will be beamed from Independence Square with coordination from Rupavahini Studio 1. IGP Pujith Jayasundera and senior police officers will participate in this program which will focus on all operations of the Police including traffic police, CID, Women’s Wing, Police bands and Mounted Police.

DIGs Ajith Rohana and Priyantha Jayakody will coordinate the program on behalf of the Police while Darshana Panangala and Samantha Kiringoda will coordinate the Outside Broadcast on behalf of Rupahavini.

The program will be directed by Athula Ransirilal while production will be by Anura Dharmasena.
