Ceylon Chamber to discuss RTI

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will hold a seminar titled 'Right to Information and its Implications for Business', tomorrow at the Chamber auditorium at 3 pm. Three expert speakers will deliberate on the new law that was introduced recently.

Head of Law at Verité Research, Sabrina Esufally, Executive Director of Transparency International Sri Lanka, Asoka Obeyesekere and President of HR, Legal, Sustainability and ERM of John Keells Holdings, Dilani Alagaratnam will speak at this seminar. The session chair will be CEO, Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, Dhara Wijayatilake.

The seminar will provide insight into, how businesses can use the RTI law to advance their ability to engage with the government and improve decision-making and also detail the process of obtaining information under RTI and pitfalls associated with the law.
