Pilgrims Rest for Forces
The Sri Lanka Light Infantry
Association plan to build a pilgrims rest at Kataragama, for
the benefit of serving and retired soldiers and their
families. A lottery in connection with the project, was
drawn at the Regimental HQ of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry
by Major Gen.T.T.R. De Silva (Rtd), President of the
Association. Brig (Rtd) Ehalamalpe, Major (Rtd) Hemaka
Weerakkody, Major (Rtd) Neththikumara, Capt. (Rtd) W.J.
Siriwardena and the prize-winner Kusuma Ekanayake of
Walapone are in the picture.
