THE GLAMOUR AND GLORY OF THE TURF
When you talk glamour, when you talk fashion and when you try and
link it to sport you can only be talking about Horse Racing. It's a
heady cocktail and a combination that's truly unique.

Royal Ascot has
virtually no equals and in India, The Indian Derby held in Mumbai on the
first Sunday of February each year has been labelled the biggest
socio-cum-sporting event in the social calendar, and here in Sri Lanka
the Royal Turf Club is making this a reality. It's almost as if
racehorses attract absolutely when enticing the rich and famous onto the
Turf.
From fashion and glamour to the realms of business and industry, the
Royal Turf Club looks well set in establishing Horseracing in Sri Lanka
as a sport that will attract the very creme de la creme of society. It's
not just going to be the equines on the track that compete for honours,
it's going to be the new breed of owners who will be drawing the lines
of battle as they enter the world of glamour and glory in what is called
the Sport Of Kings!
