Noritake clinches three export awards

Noritake Lanka Porcelain (Pvt) Limited (NLPL) won three Gold awards -
the Most Outstanding Exporter in the Industry Sector, the best Ceramic
and Porcelain Product Sub Sector (Extra Large Category), and the Most
Value Added Exporter - at the NCE Export Awards last week.
Minister of Finance, Ravi Karunanayake and Deputy Minister Public
Enterprise Development, Eran Wickramaratne were also present.
In August this year, Noritake Lanka Porcelain (Pvt) Ltd also won
three awards at the Ceylon National Chamber of Industries (CNCI) Awards.
Deputy Chairman and Managing Director of Noritake Lanka Porcelain (Pvt)
Ltd (NLPL) Yoshinari Shimaya said, "Just like last year was, this year
too has been a good one. The several awards we won this year, in
different categories, are an endorsement of the excellence of our
product and our superlative performance through the year."
"This is also an indication of the successful team work by every
member of the Noritake family in Sri Lanka, be they at the factory in
Matale, Pannala, our main showroom in Colombo 07 and at our other show
rooms in Wattala, Matale, Odel, Katunayake Airport and new show room at
Pepiliyana," he said.
"Added to this is the unwavering support of and confidence placed in
us by our constantly growing customer base both in Sri Lanka and
overseas. We at Noritake constantly strive to out-better ourselves. The
goals that lie ahead are thus very challenging and we look forward to
greater times ahead", Shimaya added. |
