Singapore Airlines Cargo wins again Singapore Airlines Cargo has been voted as the 'Best Global Air Cargo Carrier' and 'Best Air Cargo Carrier - Asia' at the Asian Freight Industry Awards 2002 in Singapore. The airline was voted by subscribers of Cargonews Asia. Singapore Airlines Cargo won both awards for the ninth consecutive year but this was the first time since it became an all-cargo airline in its own right last 2001. Singapore Airlines Cargo, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, operates to 71 destinations in 38 countries across five continents, using a fleet of 11 B747-400 freighters and the bellyhold capacity of Singapore Airlines' fleet of 92 wide-bodied passenger aircraft. |
